Located in the Dartmouth Park conservation area that runs to the eastern side of Hampstead Heath, the design opens up the kitchen into a new living space onto the garden. The light filled space emphasis connection to the garden with as much transparency and openness as possible. The main doors fold away to create a free flowing indoor -outdoor experience in the warmer months and a concealed study area off the dining space allow for working whist being connected to family life. The space has polished concrete floor throughout, bespoke furniture and a large glazed box set in the garden- to minimise the visual impact to the conservation area.
