Upper Park
Six home owners joined together to create a combined loft conversion across the tops of their houses. The only way the planners would permit the roof extension was for them to all be simultaneously constructed, to make a unified final composition. One house underwent complete demolition retaining only the facade and two more where rebuilt as part of whole house renovations in addition to the loft work. The design focused on building performance upgrades, maximisation of light, and ventilation with openable roof lights.
