Chetwynd

This Victorian maisonette was remodelled and opened up to create a large combined living space and an additional bedroom was added at first floor. The upper parts of the building are supported with steels and the staircase is designed to allow natural light in with the use of large areas of fire rated glass. Storage was maximised by using mezzanine structures over the utility to use the ceiling hight and create of ladder accessed loft. To create a full width opening to the garden a minimal sliding stacking system of glazed panels was used with a level threshold.
